So disappointed
Hey Nathan,
I checked out the Merge Fields options and I gotta say that I am
very disappointed
that it is not possible to merge custom fields.
To be honest I see no use of the option to be able to merge
fields that:
A) The customer already knows about
B) Has no direct value for them or me.
Would be awesome if you guys could include custom fields or at least some way to implement it.

Hi,
Custom merge fields is coming next week. We just needed to release the ability to merge user info to make sure it was working good first. With what we have done it does allow some cool stuff ie... One-click upsells, webforms with a click of a button, etc. We do see custom fields being extremely important and that's why we'll be releaseing that next week!

Hi Nathan,
That's great news!
How does the One-click upsell work and also the web forms?
Sounds very exciting. If a forum would be added that would just blow me away!

Hey,
One click web forms can be used by taking an infusionsoft web form and making all the fields hidden with the value equaling the merge fields.
So in Infusionsoft you create the webform and make sure the duplicate check settings are for email address. You include all the hidden fields from the code that infusionsoft gives you (ie.. xid). Then you only need to have the email address field and change the type to hidden. The only thing the client should see is the button!
Let me know if you have any other questions.
I have attached some example code for a one click webform.
