Customizable Field for invoices

I really need a way to add a "notes" field to invoices. According to everything I've read in Infusionsoft, there is no way to customize invoices. This is critical to our billing process! Not having the info on the invoice I would use the custom field for is really causing havoc with my customers and with our accountants.

I'm hoping Infused Systems will do what you are so good at, which is releasing me from Infusionsoft-imposed bonds by helping me out with a work around to this problem. I'd even be willing to pay :).

    Hi,

    This is a great suggestion. So from what I'm understanding is that you want an area on the Invoice that you can put custom info into all invoices. So maybe a header and footer area?

    A header and footer would be fantastic. Do you think this would be visible on the invoices once they are imported to QuickBooks? I need to make sure the same info is passed to QB as is available to customers in CustomerHub.

    Quickbooks should be able to allow you to customize the way invoices are viewed. Wouldn't that solve your problem?

    Good point ... I'll customize the QB invoices, but the customizable fields for CustomerHub users would be very helpful.

    Carol-Lyn,

    You now have the ability to add a note for all your invoices viewed from CustomerHub. To add/edit this note, go to Application>Settings>Invoice Note. This note will show up in the footer section of the invoice.

    I think we have talked on the phone since the last post on this discussion but let me know if you have any questions about this or have any other ideas for other CustomerHub enhancements.
